Love God
Loving God is the foundation of who we are and all that we do. We seek to place God first in our lives through worship, prayer, and faithful obedience. As we grow in our relationship with God, our hearts are shaped by His grace, our lives are guided by His Word, and our purpose is anchored in His love.
Serve Others
Serving others is how we live out the love of Christ in tangible ways. Following the example of Jesus, we offer compassion, generosity, and hospitality to our neighbors near and far. Through acts of service, we meet real needs, build meaningful relationships, and bear witness to God’s love in action.
Transform Lives
Transformation flows through Christ in the heart of our mission. We believe that Jesus changes hearts, restores hope, and makes all things new. As we share the good news, nurture disciples, and walk with one another in faith, God’s Spirit brings lasting transformation to individuals, families, and communities.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Salina First UMC is an inviting, fun, and Christ-centered place where everyone is welcome. At First UMC, you will be warmly greeted in the Lobby, don’t forget to grab a freshly-brewed cup of coffee or stop by our Fellowship Cafe’ from 9:30-10:30, be able to ask one our Greeting Team members for directions and be on your way in.
we are family-centered
First Kids is our powerful and inspirational children’s ministry. It is uniquely designed to share God’s Word in a creative, relevant, and age-appropriate way. Fun, safe, and encouraging, First Kids is a great atmosphere for children from birth through the fifth grade.
@First Youth challenges, students 6-12th grade to explore their faith, ask questions, fellowship and serve. Our Youth Ministry team is there to answer your questions and help.
